JulieF- I'm kind of like you, want to use my name. In my case, it's no problem. I'm used to nicknames. My first name is Roy, middle name Jay. My dad was also Roy, and my mom started calling me Jay early on, to distinguish me from my father. Years later, while working for the railroad, an old head started calling me "BlueJay". I don't know why. Maybe because I have blue eyes. But that label stuck for many years on the railroad, so it was the first thing I thought of when asked for a Mudcat alias. Just my 2 cents worth.
