Actually, if you want to get pedantic, campanology is the study of and art of casting bells - it's got an ology so it's a study. A campanologist is one who studies it. Otherwise, you're a bellringer - and even then, not a true bellringer until you've broken your third stay!

The bell foundry at Loughborough uses horse poo from the nearby royal stables to make the casts. Horse poo gives a smoother finish and better adhesion to the clay moulds.

But no matter what it's called, it's a bloody good hobby, and a fine achievement.
