Well, the ENT guy cureated my ear, yessiree he did. It was an infected hair follicle (that sounds so much more dignified than pimple) and he got out his little ear vacuum thing and made a roaring sound in my ear for a couple of minutes and cleaned and drained it. The swelling has reduced a great deal and I feel almost human again.

Human enough, in fact, to put in my call to the insurance folks about the roof. Big storm came through in May and I'm only now getting around to reporting the damage. I was working on getting a sick kid cured in May, I wasn't fooling with shingles. But, I figure I'll try to get this taken care of before the rainy season. (I hope they don't trample my fall tomatoes next to the house).
