I am UK and I have visited the USA twice - not the usual Florida thing we Brits do, but a house swap in Oregon and a folky thing in Pennsylvania.
On each occasion I have met people who began 1. a conversation with "Have you discovered Jesus?" and 2. "Have you allowed Jesus into your life?"
