Thank you so much for all of the replies. I had no idea that this site could be so helpful. You have NO idea how long I have been looking for the words to these songs. I was 90% certain of the lyrics to "Highland Clearances", I was only unclear on a line or two, but "Donald McGillavry" has stumped me for years. "Mumpit wi mirds and mockery"?!! Trust the Scots to muck up a good tune with gobbledeegook. The background info was very interesting as well. I was aware, some years ago, that "Donald" was a Jacobite tune, but that was the extent of my info. Again, thank you for your help.
