Today, when I switched my computer on, it told me that it had adjusted for the end of Daylight Savings Time. This year, however, DST doesn't end for another week (by decree of George Bush, who wants to keep us in the dark as long as possible).

So I had to reset the Windows clock. The phone company recently, for infathomable reasons, discontinued its time announcement service (dial POPCORN and the lady says "At the tone, Pacific time will be..."). So now I don't know with any accuracy what time it really is.

Any suggestions?
