I agree with your comment Mrs Banjiman that religious songs speak to us for to us for so many different reasons. Actually what you wrote is true for other songs too.

That said, I appreciate folks posting examples on this thread of songs that speak to them. As a result of those posts, I've been introduced to some new {for me} songs that also speak to me.
