I once posed WITH a couple of young ladies back in '71 and we were ALL there with the department store Santa Claus at some mall in Toronto. I think it was the big one up by Dufferin and 401. The young ladies were Mary Nemis and Gilda Daskalova. Mary was a slender blonde girl of central European lineage (Lithuanian-Canadian?), while Gilda was a dark-haired, sultry-looking girl who had emigrated from Bulgaria or Rumania or one of those countries around there. They were both quite attractive.

Well, Gilda was wearing a rather low-cut blouse. The poor Santa was quite distracted, but he did manage to get out a few breathless "Ho! Ho! Ho!'s" He had Mary sitting on one knee, Gilda on the other, and me standing just at the side, all grinning at the camera.

I've still got the picture. You can definitely see Santa's thinking hard about what he'd like to give Gilda for Christmas...
