The canal 'shanty', The Manchester Canal, has plenty. I think Brian Peters does a version. My favourite line -
The captains brow it darkened for he saw a storm a' brewin'
and the engineer reported that the horse it wanted shoein'.
Followed by
We were east nor'east of Bailey Bridge, just south of Salford Station.
I think it could be adapted for any inland waterway.
