Yesterday on Weekend Edition Saturday Scott Simon interviewed a fellow from the UK named Paul Potts. I hadn't heard this story before, and I did a quick search here at Mudcat, and don't find his name. This fellow sold mobile phones and sang on the side. He took lessons when he could and traveled to Italy to learn the language and take some more lessons. He's a nondescript soft-spoken fellow with an amazing talent.
