Thread Name: BS: How many Mudcatters are in Second Life?
Subject: RE: BS: How many Mudcatters are in Second Life?
I play music on Second Life...people from all over hear me live...in very high quality streaming audio. Now that a feature called Voice Chat has been enabled (multiple people can have their mic's open at the same time), I have been jamming live with some friends in various parts of Canada ( I am in CT). One night I streamed a my live gig at a local pub to a venue in Second Life.

That being said, I never could have figured out (nor had the patience to try) how to get around in second life. I knew some people from Paltalk who went there and figured it all out. I go on to either play music or listen to music (there are some really wonderful - and sometimes well known - Suzanne Vega, for example - performers there.

Second Life is not for everbody, and, judging from my nearly 10 years on Mudcat, most 'catters will find nothing good to say about it. It is what it is, and yes, some people seem to waste their 3D lives by submerging them selves in SL.
