Some friends and I went to pick up a chest of drawers. We got the drawers in the car, and put the chest (about 5 feet high) on the roof and tied it all down. We put the bottom of the chest to the front and the openings for drawers down on the blanket on the roof of the car.

Dang, but we couldn't get over 50 mph! And we could almost see the gas gauge needle dropping and couldn't figure out what was wrong with car.

When you're 19 you don't figure in wind resistance and drag....
