Just as it was starting to look like all of our "local folk" had triumphed over many and varied assaults, Linn tripped on the lobster cookpot and broke her left arm. She had enough strength of will (she is German) to call the neighbors for transport to the nearest urgent care center and Jeri, to contact me at work.

After spending the better part of the day in pain and general discomfort, it was determined that, yes indeed, she had a broken arm, and that the surgeon would be attaching some screws and a plate on Thursday. Now she is at home , with an ample supply of pain meds and muscle relaxants, and cats who want to walk on the arm to try to heal it..
