Cats, when they decide to, will love you just as unconditionally as a dog. I may just have done something outrageous to my cat, stepped on his toes, hauled some un-natural object out of an orifice, smeared horrible ointment on him, but a bit later he will be on my lap, head in my armpit, lookin' for love.
