Greg Brown is a singer-songwriter from Iowa who's been on 'The Prairie Home Companion' several times. Has had songs covered by a myriad of artist's. Michael Johnson's version of 'Rooty Toot Toot For The Moon' may be his best known work. Dick Pinney recorded several of Greg's songs on a late 70's LP called 'Devil Take These Shiney Coins'. The best of those songs was/is one called 'Hacklebarney'. Greg, also has several releases filled w/great observations and dry wit.
