Barky and her room mate came down Friday. Yesterday they spent the whole morning in the kitchen, and we had a groaning board of turkey, hand-made mashed potatoes, broccoli and squash made into colorful delicious patterns, whole grain bread and fine red wine. Rich imported coffees and a home-made ambrosia dessert that melted on the tongue.

Then we did a wonderful gifting thing, which is our Chrisatmas Eve tradition. I got a hands-free phone unit for the car which I really liike, and we gort new flatware which we really needed.

And Mom got a cuddle blanket for comfort.

This morning we did stockings!! I got the Dangerous Book For Boys. Barky has a wicked good eye for a gift, eh?
