The theme song for the CBC radio programme "Vinyl Cafe" is a tasty bit of rag-inflected finger-picking. Someone wrote to the show asking what the tune was, and Stuart Maclean told us that it was derived from a Caribbean cover of "The Song Of The Clyde". This astonished me because for years I'd been singing along to the chorus using the "Where oh where" lyric.
