Ugh. That true. Anyway, how get Hollywood acting job in 40s and 50s if not talk like Hollywood Injun?

(It's kind of sad and hilarious at the same time when you go back and read the stuff from that era that was taken for granted at the time...there's a Hollywood Indian in one of the Raymond Chandler stories, which are all beautifully written by the way, and he talks just like that.)
