He's no deity and not the only one from down there that could play and sing. He just got noticed and it took off.

Watch out for Steven LeVere though. He guards the rights to the R.J. photos viciously. If he gets wind of your animations he'll probably send you some legal advice to cease and desist. I know a fellow in the Netherlands who'd put RJ's photo up on his website a few years back and had to take it down pretty quick.
