When I first bought "Wrecking Ball" I was already a fan of Daniel Lanois', and probably the biggest Emmylou fan I know of. The first spin put me RIGHT OFF! This WAS NOT an Emmylou Harris cd, surely??!! I too, gave it to a friend and he convinced me that it was worth listening to over and over....and that's exactly what I have done. However, I agree with Steve (I think that's who said it), that "Cowgirl's Prayer" a shining example of Emmylou!

...and "Acadie" is great!
