I knew Mike very well from when he ran the Selby Folk Club in the 70's up to him moving to Whitby. We were good mates, shared many a pint and a tale and a lot of laughs, but what never ceased to amaze me was Mike's extensive repertoire of songs. He never seemed to run out of them. He was also a quality performer, MC and friend. I know it is a cliche`, but the world really is a poorer place without him. Good on yer Mike.
