Our shanty group has been only occasionally active since Katrina, but things seem to be starting back up. July may or may not provide an opportunity to get togther with the whole gang ~ we often have problems assembling a "quorum" during the summer, because those able to leave town for the hottest months often do so.

Some of these people have boats, and go wherever the hell they want!

I would think that you and your mates would face the same kind of population crisis during your Maine winters, but then again maybe all the boats are locked in the ice...
