That's the way it should be. To obtain a firearm at my house you would have to be able to open a locked locker (two point lock); to obtain ammunition would require opening a locked box in another room. Quite apart from Mark Twain, I don't have guns, loaded or otherwise, laying casually about.

Swords are another matter. THOSE, well, let's just say that I could obtain one very, very quickly.

But I don't have children around and I trust my wife with a sword (or a pistol...some of the guns are hers).
