Right after my maternal grandfather died my brother Tony, who was about 7 at the time, found a Colt's Revolver, Single Action Army model of 1873, in my grandfather's bureau. My grandmother immediately took it to a cop who lived across the street to dispose of it.

When he found out, my Uncle hit the ceiling! It was a souvenir from HIS father's sojourn in Montana...and even then a Colt's SAA Model 1873 was worth a BUNDLE of money.

My brother was smart enough not to touch it, but to call an adult.
