Apparently it was left in the car the night before by one of his "friends." A nine-shot .22 revolver, I emptied nine different brands of cartridges from it. Let's just say that it wasn't the pinnacle of the gunsmith's art either -- about one-half cut above the "Saturday Night Special" brands.

He was also one who regularly drank to excess and w/couldn't hold a job -- she was a good worker and good person. She was pretty fed up with him before that and the gun incident clinched the matter.

She was REALLY angry about it, too. I've rarely if ever seen anyone as angry -- cold, hard anger -- as she was.
