Hey Bob, yeah...Jimmy James aka Demitrios Bakolios.... we used to hang and jam a lot in NDG. A real Teddy Bear and wizard on the electric. Mind bending..

Scott Lang played really nice as well when he was with John Lutz, and Tex Lecor

Doogie Trineer...my cousin, was the first picker that I saw playing Atkins songs, so then I knew it was possible and not just recording gimmicks...he also hipped me to Lenny Breau and Buddy Emmons..

he's still at it in his studio in St Jerome, plays everything, but mostly pedal steel these days

Danny Greenspoon, from Sylvia Tyson to many years with Murray McLaughlin.... really tasty player, funny as hell, and a fine producer

these are some of the Montreal players.... and Fred Torak.. backed up so many, from Peggy Lee to Roger Whitaker....a real friend and mentor to many...the shoeless cobbler... and what about Nelson Symonds ? damn.. I've never seen or heard chords like that....and fast..

Whitelaw and I had a trio for awhile 'Semi-Koma'.. now that was fun... Stranger than Dangerous..
