I well recall the occasion I attempted to visit a Folk Club a LONG way from home and was told at the door "You cant bring THAT in here , this is a traditional Folk Club" -Pointing at my Guitar case . And these days , there are fewer people trying to insist that the version of a Trad song that THEY sing is the only 'Correct' version .
