We walk hand in hand
Step into the piazza
Where the statues stand

wondering how they came to be
wondering why you stay with me
wondering what else we should see this time.

Water under the old bridge
We watch the tourists flow
Into the rooms of paintings
Constant come and go

wondering how the sky's so blue

wondering what we're going to do next time.

And there in the darkened alley way there's a door
