Well, one thing about alot of Southern white men is they like their tobacco products so even if Obama has kicked the habit, just knowin' that Obama smokes/smoked gets him points...

But, to be very honest, Obama has the unassuming personality that Southern white men like in black men... I live in the South and know many black men who have this quality and they win over their white counterparts very quickly... Call it good ol' boy, if you like, but Obama has some "good ol' boy" in him... He doesn't threaten Southern white men like an Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson... Yeah, I fully expect to get the "blast" for making these observations but, hey???
