Willie Nelson says, you can't play a slow song on the banjo or the bordhran

Well if Willie Nelson can't play a Bodhran it doesn't diminish his skill in my eyes - but you can play a bodhran on a slow song but you better be skillful because singers use rubato for effect and not necessarilly consistently. Personally I would probably go for a pint of cider at that juncture.
