No opinions on how they knew?

One of our long standing problems in dealing with other cultures is the simple fact that we don't know how they think. We automatically look at them through our own eyes and find them disgusting. Well, in our culture, such an act is beyond disgusting.
There have been other cases of women suicide bombers, but our government doesn't want to admit that they did it on their own accord, because we have to believe that Muslim women are treated like shit, and that is simply not true.
