Interesting comment - in the neighboring state of New Mexico, most second generation and thereafter (and some are 10th generation) people of Spanish or Hispanic descent speak only a little Spanish (or none at all), inside the home or otherwise. Almost all, with the exception of new arrivals, are completely fluent in English.
