I have learned several new words and phrases, courtesy of Amos, such as "persiflage", "frisson", "I swan", and "bloviate", for example.

I sprinkle them now casually through idle conversations with friends and acquaintances, and it reduces them to stunned and perplexed silence. They have no idea what I'm talking about, but they think I'm a genius. It's fun! ;-) And I owe it all to Amos.
