I adore my first generation 4 gig Nano. I bought my boyfriend his first iPod for Christmas (new 3rd gen 8 gig), and it's even lovelier than mine. The covetousness I feel whenever I see it is rather worrying.

I have never had a single problem with my Nano, and had it sussed in about 5 minutes. The earbuds are a pain in the arse, though. I have a car charger, and an iTrip for playing it wirelessly through my car radio.

I'm a PC user, and I've also had no trouble with iTunes.

Re missing the radio: have you thought about downloading some podcasts? They make a nice change, and are often far more interesting than a lot of the stuff you hear on the radio.
