The Micho Russell Festival is on in Doolin this week-end. Micho was a local musician and one of the family who put Doolin on the map (Musically at least). He was killed in a car crash at this time of year about 15 years ago. I visited Doolin for the frist time in many years last week and couldn't get over the amount of new building that has gone on there in recent years. A lot of the rural charm of the place seems to have been lost, but it is probably good for the local tourist economy. Anywayu its worth going there this week-end. Always plenty of good music in Ennis - just follow yhour ears.
