Yes, Bill. Irritating, isn't it. Windows rips them straight to the library, as .WMA files, and Monkey rips them elsewhere as MP3 files. (So far.)
Another irritation is that, with a small-run CD without track identification, I identified the tracks as they were being ripped, and Monkey didn't take the information to the library, so I had to do them again there.
I'll get used to it, but it isn't as foolproof and straightforward as WMedia, so isn't intended for nongs like me.
