My mother will no doubt be celebrating Buckley's departure. She hated him with a vitriolic hatred...that's her standard reaction toward anyone she doesn't like on the political scene.
At the moment that would include Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and John McCain...
She loves Obama, however, and also likes Huckabee (his personality, that is, if not his specific policies).
