Unfortunately, fear mongering can not stop for many many years because there are some very serious things to be fearful about and that we must be prepared to face. I am totally for doing whatever is possible diplomatically etc., while at the same time we watch people being stuffed into paper shredders, oops diplomacy does take a bit of time, as well as a strong stomach while people are torn into bits...but there is a point at which you have to be prepared to stop the bad guys.
