As I've said all along, the acid test for Barack Obama will be showing he has the fortitude to deal with the mud the Repubs will throw, intelligently, while still holding on to his genuine position (the center of the high road). I hope he has the shield power, because I really admire the guts he has shown taking on the presumed shoo-in candidate and coming up from behind on sheer guts, energy and intelligence.
