I know there probably aren't a lot of you who can make it to this, but I thought I'd let ya'll know about it, anyway.

I just got the info on the "cowboyographer" who will be appearing from Douglas, WY. Charley Hendren presents the "Great American West in Poetry & Song" and has been called one of the top three cowboy poets writing today. There's a bunch more about him in a brochure. Comes from a real cowboy family and sounds like a pretty good deal.

We will also have a bagpiper from Lander, WY; and are proud to present authentic, multi-generational Basque dancers from Sheridan, who have not performed publicly in several years. (This was a real coup! We've been trying to get them for three years!)

There will also be Mexican and Greek dancers.

Here's the *official* blurb. Ya'll come if ya can!

"Come celebrate the many cultures of Wyoming at the Third Annual Wyoming Culture Fest, Saturday, June 10th, at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds in Casper! Taste Jewish potato latkes; hot Mexican corn on the cob; Greek food and more! Listen to cowboys songs and stories; bagpipe music; watch Basque, Native American, Greek, and Mexican folk dancing! Free arts & crafts for kids! $2 for adults; under 18 and seniors FREE . Wyoming Culture Fest, Saturday, June 10th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds in Casper !"
