I played quite a bit with Jimmy in the early 80s. Upstairs at the Meeting Place, at the Baggot Inn, Graystones, all over. His playing was fluid like water, beautiful with grace. He could get into a song like nobody else. We shared many great long nights of music and fun. There will never be another time like that and never another player like him.
