I even wondered if the lights were intelligent but I can not figure how it passes through walls. Thats one reason I thought about a dimensional incursion. You know, like if we were 2D and a 3D pencil poked a hole in our dimension. In 3D however if a 4 D pencil poked a hole in our dimension it would look like a sphere to us.
