To a simble old log cabin ,

that is where I soon will roam .

Chorus ?
C               H7       C
In the hills of old Kentucky ,

And the southern breeze is playing thru the trees ,
             D7          G D G7
that is where- I belong to be
C                H7       C
O´er the mountain trail I´m going ,
          E                Am – G7
where my sweet wild flower grows
       F                C
In the hills of old Kentucky ,
Am       G7    C
to my mountain Rose .

so I have a feelin that I am not right but lets see ,

In my dreams I see the blue grass waving ,
and the meadow larks at play
They seem to call me back again to those hills far away ,
Where the winding trail is filled with sunshine and the Rhododendron grows
Where the birds are ever singing,
to my own dear Mountain Rose .

here is the last verse

All the best Skarpi Iceland
