Kitty, here's the words to "Blessed Quietness".

BLESSED QUIETNESS

[Manie P. Ferguson, c.1897
arr. and v. 2 by Anonymous/Unknown, pub.1911]

[W. S. Marshall, c.1897
arr. by James H. Fillmore, Sr., pub.1911]

Joys are flowing like a river,
Since the Comforter has come;
He abides with us forever,
Makes the trusting heart His home.

Refrain:
Blessed quietness, holy quietness,
Blest assurance in my soul!
On the stormy sea Jesus speaks to me,
And the billows cease to roll.

Everything is turned to gladness,
All around this glorious Guest;
Banished unbelief and sadness,
All is perfect peace and rest.

Like the rain that falls from heaven,
Like the sunlight from the sky,
So the Holy Spirit given,
Falls upon us from on high.

What a wonderful salvation,
Where we always see His face!
What a peaceful habitation!
What a quiet resting-place!

And here's a link to a YouTube video of a pianist playing that song:

Fwiw, I remember singing this song in the Baptist church that I attended in my childhood and teen years. But I definitely know the tune and the chorus, I don't remember the words to the verses at all. I think it's the chorus that makes this song so powerful.
