My ex had an accident in Kentucky in the little town where we lived (worked at Mammoth Cave and environs). His volkswagen took a hit in the passenger side front, and the insurance guy told us to have it towed to a Chevy dealer. They messed it up royally (that wiring harness business) and it ended up in the shop for a couple of months at a little place in town where it should have gone to begin with. The insurance guy wanted to give his friend the Chevy dealer the business even if they didn't have a clue as to what they were doing.
