Thread Name: Chords: Song for Ireland
Subject: Chords Add: SONG FOR IRELAND
Hi,

I copied this from the previous thread. Folksong and ballads popular in Ireland Volumes 1-4 are also good, (Song for Ireland is in book 4.)

Hi

Here are the chords as I know them

[C] Walking all the [G7] day, near [Dm] tall towers where [G7] falcons build their [C] nests.
Silver winged they [G7] fly. They [Dm] know the call of [G7] freedom in their [C] breasts.
[F] Saw Black Head a- [Em] -gainst the sky where [C] twisted rocks run [Am] down to the [G7] sea.
[F] Living on your [C] western [Am] shore, saw [C] summer sunsets, [G7] asked for more.
I [F] stood by your At- [Am] -lantic [G7] sea, and [Dm] sang a [Am] song for [F] Ire- [G-C] -land.

It is difficult to put chords accurately in this, if I write them above the appropriate words they move when you submit them so I have put them in front of the words which they are supposed to change on. Hope you can follow this.

Good luck

Alison
