Barry - I've been looking for something to sing to the "When this Bloody War is Over/What a Friend We Have in Jesus" tune. When My Spell is Over might be it. Would George Herbert have claimed/admitted authorship? If any more lines come to the surface let us know.

Burl - good to hear from you, and glad to note you're still singing occasionally. Any chance of you getting up Fleetwood way? As well as Fleetwood Folk Club and Fylde Folk Festival, I remember you at one of the very early Lancaster Maritime Festivals, singing shanties round the boat in the basement.
