Life is funny sometimes. This afternoon I'm going to a funeral of a friend who went overnight from being fit, healthy and enjoying everything in life to being practically unable to speak and being confined to a wheelchair and unable to do anything for himself. This was due to a brain haemmorrage.
He spent a year when his speech did get a little better during which time he told me often how much he wished it was all over. Last week he got his wish.
Today I found this thread and it's helped me get my thoughts into some kind of perspective.
I've no idea what songs/hymns we'll hear today but I'll have a lot to listen to inside.
I guess the main one for me is "I Bid You Goodnight" which The Greatful Dead sang. When I have more time I'll find a Blue Clicky for it.
