The thread on hymnals got me to wondering what hymns or gospel songs are performed and/or encountered in jams around the country. Here are a few we use frequently:

These are the ones most commonly used in jams:

I'll Fly Away
I Saw the Light
Uncloudy Day

In performing, our instrumental duo (hammered dulcimer, autoharp & mandolin) regularly includes:
Sweet Hour of Prayer
Near the Cross
Wayfaring Stranger
We're also adding new ones all the time, with a CD of hymns planned for later this year.
