Adam and Eve had bellies as unblemished as a baby's bum, I seem to recall. I remember at my very traditional Roman Catholic prep school we were told that, of course, they couldn't have had navels because they were made directly by God. Same thing goes for angels. So, even if that heavenly figure does have St Michael written on their underwear, if they've got a belly button, they're an imposter. And if they quibble, tell 'em the Pope told you so!
